PLASTIC FREE JULY - BE PART OF THE SOLUTION
Plastic Free July is a month-long campaign where people around the world take the challenge to reduce their single use plastic. Items such as sanitary pads, takeaway boxes and drinks bottles that break down into microplastics but never fully biodegrade. Instead they end up in landfill, our oceans, in fish and even in our drinking water.
Plastic production also emits large amounts of greenhouse gases which can cause air pollution.
In 2019, 250 million people took the challenge to reduce their single use plastic, avoiding 825 million kgs of plastic waste.

HOW I CAN HELP YOU:
Throughout July I'm going to be sharing with you my own personal journey. Things like the products I switched first and advice which I think will help you.
To get you started I'll also be offering daily discounts on certain products each day.
MY FAMILY CHALLENGE
I am not yet plastic free. A lot of my household products are but I have struggled with the food shop and a family of 5.
So I have taken my own challenge to reduce my families plastic as best as I can. It is going to be tough! We don't have a zero waste store near us which would make a plastic free food shop a lot easier. But I will do my best! There will be a lot of baking involved (somewhere in my manic days!) But I am ready!
So please make sure to follow my Instagram or Facebook page for updates and so you can keep up with the offers to help you get started!
