Hydrophils plastic free bathroom products

Plastic free bathroom products
Hydrophil was created from a passion for water conservation.

Hydrophils founders are 3 friends from Hamburg. They started with a blog in 2012 about the worlds water problems, blogging about every aspect such as conservation and water conflicts.

Water is one of the most important resources on this planet and at least two-thirds of our planet is covered in water, yet only 3% of this is fresh or safe drinking water. Unbelievably, 2.1billion people have no access to safe drinking water.

Its facts like this that set them on their mission to create vegan, fair trade, sustainable and water-neutral bathroom products.

Whenever possible, Hydrophil use resources which don't endanger ground or drinking water and don't require artificial irrigation (an artificial application of water to the soil). All of their products are vegan and cruelty-free and they keep a close eye on their supply chain to ensure their products are produced fairly with fair pay.

Hydrophil creates innovative and sustainable hygiene products. Their aim is to achieve beautiful things, with beautiful things. And they do it perfectly. Every one of their products feels like a little bit of luxury and as soon as I received my first order I questioned why I hadn't made the switch to plastic-free earlier. I have fallen in love with this brand, their company values, and their mission.

The icing on the cake for me was the fact that they support a non-profit association in India, Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. which is committed to providing safe drinking water, sanitisation and hygiene supplies to people south of the globe. Hydrophil donates 10% of their profits.

Hydrophil is a company who align with our ethos. They create plastic free, sustainable products which are vegan, produced fairly, and they give back. Everything we look for in our suppliers.
